This partnership will allow us to keep our recreational league local, as well as expand its availability for older age groups.

Dear Saline Area Youth Baseball & Softball Families,

I am proud of the strong foundation our organization has built over the years, thanks to the dedication of our players, families, and volunteers. Today, we take the next step! I’m excited to announce that in 2026, we will be joining Little League. This exciting partnership brings fresh opportunities for our community—strengthening our mission to offer a fun, inclusive, and quality baseball and softball experience for all.

This new affiliation will enhance the values and strengths we already have in place, offering expanded resources, training opportunities, and access to additional local, regional and national events. With Little League, we’ll continue to grow and enrich our programs, always with our local community and traditions at heart.

Saline Area Youth Baseball & Softball

SAYBS is a non-profit organization, with the goal of providing developmental leagues and travel teams in the Saline Community. Our objective is to reinforce the ideals of good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority while teaching the fundamentals of baseball and softball.

We offer both House leagues and Travel leagues as options to parents and players. These leagues differ with respect to competitive levels of play and time/financial commitments required. For a more detailed comparison of House vs. Travel leagues, click here.
